Sajakorpi Oy celebrated its 60th anniversary

Sajakorpi Oy celebrated its 60th anniversary on the 9th of April at Tampere Hall. It began with opera performance Othello, production of Tampere Opera composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Both Kimmo Sajakorpi and his son Aku performed in the opera as a members of the Tampere Opera Choir. In addition the managing director Kimmo Sajakorpi was awarded with "the Oscar of Brush Industry 2005" by one of the guests!
At the main event many of the staff and the interest group members were awarded for their services.

Awards granted by Tampere Chamber of Commerce & Industry:
The Medal of Merit granted for 10 years of service: Marko Jalonen.
The Medal of Merit granted for 15 years of service: Hannu Hämäläinen, Matti Keskinen, Kari Kujala and Vesa Raiskio.
The Medal of Merit granted for 20 years of service: Marko Kalliomäki.
The Medal of Merit granted for 30 years of service: Ilkka Mäkinen, Anja Vuorenmaa and Kimmo Sajakorpi.
The Medal for Life's work: Aarno Liitsalo, Reijo Summanen and Jukka Wäljas.
